Mark Richard Vandersnow 61 of Manchester NJ passed away at home on March 24th after battling Multiple Myeloma and HHT, also known as Osler–Weber–Rendu Syndrome. The family will have private services to honor his life. Mark was born in Suffern NY to William and Shirley (Cotta) Vandersnow. He went to Northern Highlands Regional HS in Allendale NJ graduating in 1974. Mark’s strong work ethic carried through in everything he did. He was a skilled craftsman and master builder. He operated his own business, Mark Vandersnow Building and Excavation, which he ran for over 35 years in Midland Park, NJ. He later built a custom timber frame home in Saranac Lake, NY which was his ultimate masterpiece. Mark enjoyed many hobbies including rock and ice climbing, hiking, skiing and scuba diving. He always had a dog at his side especially his friend Moose. He offered his services to Habitat for Humanity and was always helping family and friends. He will be missed by all. Mark is survived by his wife Christine O’Neill-Vandersnow, daughter Corrie Cain and her husband Jesse and granddaughter Sophie of Lisbon, Ohio, daughter Jenna Corder and her husband Aaron and grandchildren Hudson and Evolet of Longmont, Colorado, stepson Michael Miller of Atlanta, GA, stepdaughter Erin Ortandl, her husband Matt and grandson Edwin of Midland Park NJ, stepson Ian Miller and grandson Liam of Midland Park NJ, brother Fred Vandersnow of Boyertown, Pa, brother Lambert Vandersnow (predeceased), niece Stacey Franz, nephews Ryan and Cort Muller.
