Obituary of Evalena Tilton

 

Evalena Tilton passed away peacefully, January 16, 2018 at the age of 98, surrounded by her family. She was born in Brick Twp. on July 19, 1919 and lived her entire life on Mantoloking Road. She is on her way to Heaven to be reunited with her parents and 10 siblings.

She is survived by 5 Sons and 2 daughters, Alan, Frederick, Albert, Andrew, Loren, Diane Walker and Peggy Huie; 13 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was the icon of a great mother. The most amazing thing was her ability to keep close track of all seven children even though she had to work long hours to take care of them.

Everyone who knew her praised her for being such a hardworking and honest person. They admired her many talents and dedication to her family, always highlighting the accomplishments of her children and grandchildren rather than her own. Never taking credit for being the amazing role model she was well deserving of.

God is receiving an awesome addition to Heaven, she can never be replaced here on earth
