With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Gary Van Wagner, 71, of Manchester, on Tuesday, March 31, 2020 at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Born in Manhattan and raised in Woodbridge, he has been residing in Manchester for the last 46 years. He was owner/operator of Gary Van Wagner Custom Painting in Manchester for 50 years. He enjoyed working on antique cars, going to car shows, he loved spending time with his family and his girlfriend, Margherita Deyorgi. He is the loving & devoted father of Gary Van Wagner and his wife Sheila, Gregory Van Wagner and his wife Beth, and Geoffrey (Chucky) Van Wagner and his wife Christyn. Adored Pop Pop to Jake, Dylan, Morgan, Gunnar, and Tucker. He is the cherished son of Lillian Bucciante, beloved brother of Corrine Legge and uncle of Kristen Burgess, her husband Phil, and their daughter Hannah, Sherri Eletto and Scott Brodine. He is survived by his former wife, Janice MacGregor, the mother of his 3 sons. He is preceded in death by his father, Richard Van Wagner.
