Our Almighty Father welcomed Joseph N. Weiss to his eternal heavenly home to be with Him in everlasting peace on Sunday, January 15, 2023. Clearly a life gone too soon! The passing of Joseph leaves us with unbearable sorrow, yet we are so immensely proud and thankful that we were blessed with having Joey with us for his twenty-eight years! Joseph had a huge and very kind heart, never hesitating to help anyone and everyone out with his time, skills, generosity and assistance. It didn’t matter to Joey whether he knew you for five years, five months, or five minutes, if you needed anything he would be there. His sense of humor and wit always left everyone with a smile. Joseph above all loved his family, he so enjoyed his jobs at Tungsten Plumbing and A. Bailey Plumbing and all of his co-workers. He took tremendous pride in his work and often enthusiastically shared stories with us how he tackled various job sites. Joey was also a member of the Knights of Columbus 8603. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, camping and gaming! Joseph will be forever loved and heartbrokenly missed by his family and friends. Joey is survived by his parents Victoria and Edward, his brother EJ, along with his grandmother Julia Sovinski, numerous Aunts, Uncles, cousins and preceded in death by his grandmother Rita E. Weiss. A memorial mass is scheduled for Saturday, February 18, 2023, at 11 AM at Saint Barnabas Roman Catholic Church, 33 Woodland Road in Bayville, NJ 08721. A visitation with family will precede the mass from 10:30AM until 11AM. The Weiss family will have a Repast luncheon immediately following the mass, graciously hosted at Livingston Manor, 230 E. Lakewood Avenue, Ocean Gate, NJ 08740. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Joseph N. Weiss Memorial Fund, PO Box 234, Ocean Gate, NJ 08740, established for future scholarships and endeavors in the rehabilitation sector.
