Esther was a very strong willed person who deeply believed in the Lord. She embraced her Puerto Rican heritage and was proud to be a Latino woman. She loved her family dearly and put everyone ahead of herself. Her grandchildren were her life. She was determined to remain independent and live on her own until the end. She enjoyed sitting outside and talking to her neighbors as well as feeding nuts to the squirrels. Everyone who knew her loved her fun spirit and remember her as always having a smile on her face. She is also remembered for making everyone around her feel like part of the family.
