JUNE DICKSON BUICK, 82, of Toms River, N. J. (formerly of Bayonne, N. J.) unexpectedly passed away
on Monday, December 2, 2024.
She was born on June 28, 1942 in a little village in Perthshire, Scotland called Alyth to Thomas and Mary
Buick. She was educated at Alyth secondary school and then traveled to the U. S. She decided to acquire
her citizenship which was rewarded to her on April 8, 1985. She worked various jobs until she settled into
her career of 24 years at the Department of Motor Vehicles in Jersey City, N. J. After retiring, she
relocated to Toms River, N. J.
June enjoyed gardening (she had quite the “green thumb”) and dabbled in watercolor painting in her
spare time. She also dedicated time to assist at the local food bank and loved spending time with her
family and friends. June was generous with her time and never hesitated to offer a helping hand. She
always had a smile to share or a shoulder to lean on. She was kind, loving and caring and will be missed
terribly.
June is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Mary Buick and beloved friend Carol Lou Webber.
June is survived by her brother, Allan Buick and his wife, Marilyn Kay Buick. Cherished aunt to Anthony
Dickson Buick and Patricia Ann Buick, Eileen and Lorenzo Petrucci, Jane Nordquist, Kerri and Dr. Steven
Bacall and Nicholas Smith. She is also survived by 11 grand-nieces and nephews.
June is also preceded in death by her sweet fur baby, Scruffy.
June will live on in the hearts of all those who loved her. She will always be remembered by her loving
family, friends and neighbors.
The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to all those who have reached out at this difficult time.
