With deepest sorrow, we announce the passing of John Rodriguez, 64 years young—our beloved husband, son, father, brother, family member, and friend. He passed away peacefully at home on April 2, 2025, after a difficult battle with pancreatic cancer.

John will be deeply missed every day by his devoted and loving wife, Trinidad; his children, Armani and Isabela; his stepdaughters, Michelle and Johnna; his mother, Soraida; his sisters, Sally and Denise; his brother, Richard; his cherished nieces and nephew; as well as his aunts, uncles, cousins, and many, many dear friends.

John’s father, Juan, who also left this world too soon, was a profound influence in his life, instilling in him the importance of family and a deep faith in God.

Those who knew John, even just a little, lost a shining light in their lives. While we find comfort in knowing he is no longer suffering, his absence leaves a void that can never truly be filled.

John was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, where he developed a deep love and passion for life. He was devoted to family and had a profound appreciation for travel, food, business, music, art, and basketball. He eagerly shared his knowledge and experiences with everyone around him, always giving from the heart.

John’s generosity knew no bounds—he never hesitated to give his very best. A close childhood friend beautifully expressed it: "Very few people I have known were as giving. He understood the principle of giving and giving freely. Johnny was joy."
