Christina Caroline Rizzo, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 22, 2025. She was 92 years old.

Christina dedicated much of her life to caring for others. She found fulfillment as a nurse's assistant and later as an employee in a psychiatric unit, where her compassionate nature shone brightly. Beyond her professional life, Christina was a devoted caregiver to many and a lifelong lover of animals.

Christina was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Henrietta Stevens, her three sisters Dorothy Stevens, Joan Lutz and Rita Stevens. As well as her son in law Gary Sable.

She will be profoundly missed by her loving children Marianne Smith-Sable, Renee Schrader and her husband William Schrader and Thomas Rizzo. Christina was also cherished by her three granddaughters Christine Smith, Jessica Rizzo and Michele Smith, and was blessed to watch her six great grandchildren grow, bringing immense joy to her later years. She will also be missed by her many friends and family.

The memory of Christina will be deeply cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.

A Memorial Service will be held Sunday June 8th at 1:00pm at Saint Stephen's Episcopal Church located at 367 US-9 Waretown, NJ 08758
