Elyse Ethel Puleo of Bayville, NY, passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2025. She was born in Pottstown, PA in 1944. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Eveline, and her dear husband, Santo. Elyse leaves behind her daughter, Elizabeth Salvatrice McCray and her husband, Michael McCray and one grandson, Brett Alexander McCrea and many dear friends

The family would like to thank her personal nurses and aides on staff of Tallwoods Care Center for the kindness and care they bestowed upon Elyse while her time there.

She is now at peace and free. In heaven, there is no pain and no worries. No longer riddled with agony but the glory of God! She will be reunited with her loved ones gone before her and again be with her dear Santo! How wonderful that must be! The glory of what she must see! She must be rejoicing! So we must not mourn.

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

A memorial service and inurnment will be later determined and be held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Manchester Township, NJ. Family and friends will be notified.
