Barbara Susan Fellers (Nee Stoddard), 76, passed away on July 23, 2025 after a long illness.

Barbara was born in East Orange, NJ and spent her early years living in Irvington NJ before moving to Bladensburg MD in 1954. She moved to Beachwood, NJ, with her family, in 1959.

Barbara is a graduate of Toms River High School and The Beth Israel School of Nursing. She was employed, as a nurse, at the Beth Israel Medical Center in NYC, for a number of years.

Barbara returned to Toms River and joined the staff of Visiting Homecare, where she worked for 40 years until she retired.

Barbara was predeceased by her parents, Marion Mast Stoddard of Beachwood and Frederick Choate Stoddard of Silver Springs, MD and her husband Stephen Fellers of Toms River.

She is survived by her sister Linda Stoddard of Toms River, her brother Bill Stoddard and his wife Susan, a niece Kim Hinshaw (John) of Browns Mill, and a nephew Ken Stoddard (Christine) of Charleston, SC and her great-nieces.

The family would like to express our thanks to the staff of the Visiting Nurses Association (VNA) for their excellent hospice care and we send special thanks to her wonderful aides, Claire and Torie from Caring With Kindness.

Barbara was always a great reader and donations made to the Ocean County Library, 101 Washington Street Toms River, NJ 08753 would be appreciated.
