Steven St. Germain, 75, of Brick, NJ passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday, August 5, 2025. Steven was born on November 15, 1949, in Point Pleasant, NJ.

Following high school, Steve went into the US Army. Steve was honorably discharged from the Army in 1971. He received his associate’s degree from Ocean County College. Steve worked as a telephone lineman with Verizon (formerly NJ Bell) for 30 years.

Together Steve and Susan built a beautiful life together, in Point Pleasant, NJ where they were blessed with two daughters, Jennifer and Valerie. Steve was a devoted husband and hero to his family. Steve was a renaissance man with a lion’s heart. He could do anything from baking a wedding cake to installing a floor. He was always willing to lend a hand.

Steve loved music, travel and his beloved guitars. Prior to Steve’s illness, he and Susan enjoyed a trip to Scandinavia.

Those who know Steve were lucky to be within his orbit. He was known by all as a warm, sweet, tender, and kind man. He found joy, deep peace, comfort, and happiness around his family and friends.

Steve was preceded in death by parents Julia and Donald St. Germain and brother Scott St. Germain.

Left to celebrate his life are his loving wife, best friend and steadfast companion of 55 years, Susan (neé Leaming), St. Germain of Brick, NJ. Steve is also survived by his daughters Jennifer St. Germain, and Valerie (neé St. Germain) O’ Neal and her husband David O’ Neal. He is also survived by his grandchildren Andrew Leeman, Julia O’Neal and Annie O’Neal, and his sisters Julie Longstreet and her husband Michael, Dona Rhoads and her husband Michael and Kelly St Germain, and many other family and friends.
