Susanne Rose Giannella, of Hawthorne, NJ, Ortley Beach, NJ, and Wadley, AL, passed away peacefully on August 10, 2025 at the age of 84.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, a devoted wife, and a compassionate nurse who cared for countless patients during her years at Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, NJ. Her warmth, kindness, and dedication to her family and community touched everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Alfred Giannella, five children, thirteen grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren, all of whom will carry her love in their hearts forever.

A private family celebration followed her passing and burial arrangements will be announced soon which will be held at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Totowa, New Jersey in keeping with her wishes.
