Frederick C. Reight, 78, of Toms River, went to be with the Lord on August 28, 2025. Born February 3, 1947, in Islelin, to Hazel Lawyer Reight and Frederick Reight, Fred was a loving husband, father, PopPop, and great-grandfather. He enjoyed being in the garden, watching the birds in the backyard, bowling, driving to the ocean, and spending time with his family.
After graduating from JFK High School in 1965, Fred joined the United States Army serving as a photographer for USAEURA. He was a member of the First Aid Squad in Islelin for over 20 years, serving as Captain. He worked for General Motors in Linden and Emilani Beauty in Union.
He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years Lucia Lotito Reight; a daughter Michele Lynn and her husband Matthew of Church Hill, MD; a son John Fallet and his wife Anne of South Plainfield; grandchildren Brittney, Sean and wife Mary, Jesse and wife Abbey; John, Rachel, Andrew, and Anthony; and great-grandaughter Maribella. Fred is predeceased by his mother Hazel Lawyer, father Frederick, and son James.
