Mary Lou Johnson, 70, of Toms River, NJ, passed away peacefully on September 22, 2025.

Born on December 10, 1954, in Lakewood, NJ, Mary Lou was the daughter of Ben and Helen Johnson. A proud graduate of Lakewood High School, Class of 1973, she remained connected to her classmates throughout the years, most recently serving on the reunion committee.

Mary Lou lived in Brick, NJ, from 1980 to 2006 before settling in Toms River. Over the years, she dedicated her hard work and talents to several local companies, including Molecu Wire, Crown Beer Distributors, Thomas Monuments, and Gavin General Contractors.

She will be remembered for her devotion to her family, her caring nature, and the many friendships she nurtured throughout her life.

Mary Lou is survived by her husband, Marc Pimpinella; her daughters Elise and husband Bob Longo, Joanne and husband Brian Porter, and Katie Pimpinella; and her cherished grandchildren Christina Longo, Bobby Longo, Ben Longo, Breanne Sisco, Abigail Sisco, and Madison Sigoda. She is also survived by her brother, George; her sister, Betty Lee; and many beloved cousins and family members.

A memorial gathering to celebrate Mary Lou’s life will be held on

Friday, September 26, from 3pm - 5pm,

at Ocean County Cremation Service

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in her memory.

Mary Lou’s legacy of love and generosity will live on in all who knew her.
