Nancy (Di Salvo) Prince, 77, of Beachwood, New Jersey, passed away on January 10, 2026.
She was born on February 26, 1948, in Edison, NJ, to Michael Di Salvo and Julia (Parint) Di Salvo.
Nancy grew up in Edison and built a long, hardworking career across several fields. She worked as a forklift operator at Owens‑Illinois in the Raritan Center, later as an order picker for Baxter International, and for the last fifteen years she dedicated herself to the work she loved most dog grooming—at Posh Pooch and Canine Chateau. Her gentle way with animals and her steady, dependable nature made her deeply appreciated by coworkers and clients alike. Nancy was known for her happy disposition and the quiet joy she brought into everyday moments. She enjoyed crafting, and her calligraphy added a personal touch to the cards, notes, and small gifts she made for others. Her creativity showed up in the little things she did, and people felt her warmth in those details.
Nancy married Frank Prince in 1988, and together they made their home in Beachwood, NJ. She is survived by her husband Frank, who cherished their many years together.
She left a void that could never be filled,
not by noise,
not by time,
not by the slow turning of ordinary days.
It sits where her voice once lived,
where her footsteps softened the room,
where her presence made the world feel
a little less sharp.
But the void is not empty.
It holds the warmth she gave,
the steadiness she taught,
the small rituals that still move through your hands
without thinking.
It holds the way she looked at you,
the way she shaped your days,
the way she made a life
out of simple, lasting things.
She left a void that could never be filled
and yet, somehow,
you carry her there,
not as absence,
but as the quiet proof
that love leaves echoes
long after breath is gone.
