Thomas Companion Jr., 49, of Toms River passed away peacefully surrounded by family on

Sunday, April 26, 2026. Thomas was born on May 5, 1976. He was a loving son, devoted brother

and beloved uncle.

Thomas was raised in West Orange, NJ and moved to Toms River over 20 years ago. He worked

for many years as a bar and restaurant manager. He was a great man loved by many family and

friends. He was always there for anyone who needed him. He was a huge sports fan especially

the Dallas Cowboys and New York Yankees. He enjoyed playing softball alongside of his dad

and brothers. He loved playing video games and going fishing with his brothers and nephews.

Thomas is predeceased by his mother Laura Noborine.

He is survived by his father Thomas Companion Sr.; his two younger brothers Michael

Companion and wife Erica; Anthony Companion and wife Nicole; nephews Nico, Anthony and

Mason and niece Lia as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A memorial gathering will be Saturday, May 9, 2026 from 11am-2pm at Ocean County

Cremation Service, 1252 Route 37 West, Toms River, NJ 08755. Funeral service will be at

1:30pm.
