Elaine Stabile was a devoted mother and cherished grandmother who passed away suddenly at home on May 13, 2026. She was born in 1941 to Helen and Carsten Andersen and spent her childhood in Bayonne, New Jersey. Elaine graduated from Holy Family Academy in 1959 before moving to the Jersey Shore in the 1960s. She had been a resident of Brick, New Jersey, for the past forty years.

Elaine worked at the Ocean County Library in Toms River for many years until her retirement, after which she lovingly helped care for her two grandsons.

She was an avid reader, Elaine enjoyed trips to Atlantic City and attending Broadway shows. She also found great joy in playing bingo and cards with friends.

Elaine was predeceased by her parents, Helen Andersen and Carsten Andersen.

She is survived by her daughter, Beth Guarino, and son-in-law, Paul Guarino. Elaine was a proud and loving grandmother to Brian and Eric.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Luke's Roman Catholic Church, Toms River, NJ 08755.
