Mary Karen Webb-Scarpulla

Mary Karen Scarpulla left us on February 11, 2023 at the age of 69.

Mary was born in Trenton, New Jersey to her parents William and Carolyn Webb.

She was raised in both Toms River and Bayville, New Jersey. Mary resided in Buena, New

Jersey with her loving husband Bruce A. Scarpulla Sr.

Mary was a wonderful stay-at-home mother raising her three children: Bruce A. Scarpulla Jr.,

Carolyn E. Scarpulla, and Salvatore S. Scarpulla. She also devoted her time helping her husband

with the family landscaping business and was employed as a medical receptionist for many

years.

Mary is predeceased by her parents William and Carolyn Webb, as well as her brother Edward

M. Webb, her nephew Michael J. Magich, and her husband Bruce A. Scarpulla Sr. (nine days

prior).

Mary is survived by her eldest son Bruce A. Scarpulla Jr. and his wife Sandra who share four

children: Quortnie S. Canion, Justin A. Canion, Olivia K. Scarpulla, and Sophia V. Scarpulla.

Mary is survived by her youngest son Salvatore S. Scarpulla and his wife Erica who share two

children: Salvatore “Sam” S. Scarpulla Jr. and Claire M. Scarpulla. Mary is also survived by her

daughter Carolyn E. Clemons and her husband Chad Clemons who share one daughter:

Evangeline Clemons. Mary is survived by her two great-grandchildren: Justin “JJ” A. Canion Jr.

and Jackson M. Canion.

Mary is also survived by her siblings: Stephen W. Korman, with his wife Dawn, William J.

Webb and his wife Dorothy, and Lynda A. Magich. Mary is survived by her many nieces and

nephews as well.

To honor Mary’s memory, we are holding a conjoined celebration of life to remember both Mary

and her husband Bruce Scarpulla Sr. Mary was a devoted woman and friend who made sure to

share her compassion and love with all walks of life. The celebration of life will be held

sometime in the spring and will be announced at a later date.

A dragonfly will remind me that even though we are apart, your spirit will always be with me in

my heart.
