Obituary of Helen Ringer MacKenzie

Helen (Ringer) MacKenzie, 86, of Toms River, passed away peacefully at home, Saturday, May 27, 2017, after a long illness. She was born in Pittsburgh, Pa and lived in Toms River most of her life. She worked as a substitute teacher at Westminster Nursery School at the Presbyterian Church for many years. She was a member of the Toms River Fire Co. No. 2 Ladies Auxillary as a life member.  She was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Toms River for 62 years.  

She was a generous and giving person to her family and others.  Her wonderful sense of humor will be missed.

 

Helen was married to her late beloved husband, Earl J. MacKenzie for 59 years. She is survived by her son, Earl MacKenzie of Egg Harbor Twp.; her daughters, NormaJean Senna and her husband Chuck of Carolina Beach, N.C. and Leslie Brady and her husband Jim of Waretown; her sisters-in-law, Elsie Peters of Sea Girt and Helen M. MacKenzie of Piscataway; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

 

There will be a private service.
