Obituary of Norman J Boucher

Norman J. Boucher of Brick, NJ passed away July 10 surrounded by his family. He was born and raised in New Bedford, MA the son of the late Edward and Sophie Florence (Metiever) Boucher, and brother of the late Edward Sr. and Paul Boucher. After high school he joined the US Navy spending most of the time in the Mediterranean. He then went on to graduate from U. Mass in Amherst where he enjoyed singing, acting and directing. While there he was also a member of QTV fraternity. He was the Past Exalted Ruler at the Elks in Union where he lived for many years. After retiring as a State Farm agent he spent his final years at the Jersey Shore enjoying the ocean and spending the day on his boat. He was a member of the Men’s Fellowship and also sang in the choir at Brick Presbyterian Church . He leaves his loving wife, Carol, his 5 children and their spouses, his 9 grandchildren, and his brother, Albert. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 13th at 2PM to celebrate his life.
