Obituary of Karen Louise Conklin

Karen Louise Conklin (nee Herriges) 77 of Waretown and Stuart, Florida after a courageous battle with cancer, passed away June 21. She is survived by her three children Jenifer Magyar of Brielle, Therese Mueller of Huntington Beach, California and William Mueller of Forked River. She was adored by her five grandchildren Jasmine Roth of Huntington Beach, California Shannon and Dustin. Tyler Magyar of Portland, Oregon and Aubree Laine of Belmar. Karen was fun loving, adventure seeking, up for any game or challenge. She was energetic and loved to laugh. She generously devoted many years to volunteer work. A memorial service was held on June 25. Donations can be made in her honor to Mary’s Place By The Sea, Ocean Grove. The family would like to thank Mike Levi, longtime companion and caregiver; Marti Tully, best friend and caregiver; John Higley caregiver and Dr. Nahum and wife Anne, along with her caring and loving chemo crew.
