Elaine Baumeister, of Manchester Twp., passed away on Sunday, May 6, 2018.  She was predeceased by her parents, Grace and Bertram Baumeister; her sisters, Mary Grace Hyslop and Anne Maureen Waldron; and her brothers Edward Baumeister and Bertram Baumeister.  Elaine is survived by her beloved nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews. Her professional life included teaching in the West Milford and Ridgewood, NJ school systems. She also held various positions with the New Jersey Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, executive positions with The Matheny School/Hospital and Mount Carmel Guild, and worked as an independent contractor with several public and private agencies serving people with disabilities.  Elaine was a member of St. John’s RC Church, Lakehurst and a frequent communicant of St. Joseph’s RC Church, Toms River and St. Dominic’s RC Church, Brick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 am Monday, May 14, 2018 at the Church of The Most Blessed Sacrament, Franklin Lakes, interment will follow at Christ The King Cemetery, Franklin Lakes. Arrangements are under the direction of Ocean County Cremation Service, Toms River.
