Margaret “Peggy” Lutz


Born in Elizabeth, NJ she spent most of her life in Colonia, NJ before moving to Holiday City Carefree, Toms River, NJ eighteen years ago. She worked as head bookkeeper for Acetylene Supply Company, Woodbridge, NJ for many years before retiring. Peggy volunteered her time helping to coordinate the Salvation Army Annual Christmas Drive for hats, scarves, and gloves for area children. An avid book reader Peggy was also in charge of the Carefree Library.
She is survived by her husband Charles of 61 years. Loving mother of Charles and wife Barbara of Reading, PA, Kenneth and wife Leona of Bridgewater, NJ and Sharon and husband Richard Groben of Lebanon Township, NJ. Devoted grandmother of Teddy, Kenny, Glen, Chaz, Kyle, Melody and Maggie. She is also survived by her two brothers James Fitzpatrick of Spring Lake, NJ and John “Jack” Fitzpatrick of Carson City, NV and many nephews, nieces and cousins.

A private Memorial Service is planned.
