Obituary of Kenneth Paul Washkevich

 

Kenneth Paul Washkevich , 71, of Whiting, NJ, passed away on June 24, 2018 in Community Medical Center, Toms River, NJ 08755. 

 

A Memorial service will be held at a later date, at his home church Crossroads Baptist Church of Lakehurst, NJ. 

 

Kenneth was born in Worcester, MA to Jennie & Stephen Washkevich on July 14, 1946. Kenneth proudly served his country in US Navy, as an E-5 Marine Mechanic. He received the National Defense Service Medal.  His remains will be placed with great honor at the Veteran’s Brigade Memorial.

 

Kenneth worked many years as a Master Electrician. He was a card carrying member of the IBEW.  Once retired, Kenneth volunteered tirelessly in his community sharing his passion & love for his Lord & Savior Jesus Christ. 

 

Kenneth is survived by his wife Dyana Washkevich, of Whiting, NJ. He is also survived by his sister Irene Smith, two sons Mark & Steven Washkevich and their spouses, a daughter Natalie Tonnesen & her spouse, two step-daughters and their spouses, and many dearly loved grandchildren. Ken was preceded in death by his parents, a twin sister,  his older brother Conrad Washkevich, and his step son David Avery.

 

 

Kenneth will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He was joyful, encouraging, and always had a kind word of hope to share. Kenneth truly loved people and was a inspiring reflection of the Lord Jesus Christ’s unconditional love for all people
