Paul D. Toucher of Berkeley Twp., NJ, formerly of Jackson & Bergen County, born on 05/20/1944 passed away July 7th, 2018 with his family at his side. He was predeceased by his mother Barbara; father Thomas, brother Tom, and sister Lynne. He leaves behind his loving wife Cheryl of 54 years, sons Steve & Jeff, daughter Debi, and 8 grandchildren. He graduated from Pascack Valley Regional High School with his wife in 1963, and then enlisted in the Air Force. Paul was a Vietnam Veteran. He was a member of the Jackson JayCee’s. He was Self Employed his entire life, first as an auto mechanic, and later as a builder and owner of an Overhead Door Company. Some of his greatest accomplishments were his work rebuilding their vacation home in OBX for the entire family to enjoy, as well as a family home in Jackson. He has always been a diehard Jets fan. The hole his loss leaves in the hearts of his family will be deeply felt, and he will be greatly missed. Family and friends are welcome to celebrate his life on Saturday July 28th from 1p-5p at the VFW hall at 145 Westbrook Drive, Toms River, 08757. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Paul’s name, to ‘Homes for our Troops @www2.hfotusa.org or 6 Main St. Taunton, MA 02780.
