Obituary of Theresa Barbara Kiel

Theresa Barbara Kiel died suddenly on December 3rd after injuries sustained from a car accident. She was born on June 20, 1932 in Bayonne NJ to Mary Miros and John Miros who worked for Standard Oil. She is predeceased by her late husband Frank and siblings Charles, Edward, Sister Mary Estelle and Anna and is survived by Walter and Chester.  She was a devoted and beloved mother to Stephen and his wife Amanda, Michael and his wife Susan, respective of Southport NC; Paul and his wife Audrey of West Milford NJ and Patricia of New York City.

 

Cherished Grandmother to Brendan, Jordan, Megan, Alyssa, Lauren, Kathryn, Nicholas, Samuel and Leo and proud great grandmother of eight. Theresa was an active member of Sonata Bay in Bayville  where she retired and enjoyed her latter years. Theresa enjoyed travel, reading, volunteering, gardening, and particularly cooking. Her true north star was family, church and community and all will miss her loving and generous presence. A Memorial Mass will be held Wednesday, December 5th at 10:30AM at St. Luke’s Roman Catholic Church in Toms NJ, 1674 Old Freehold Road, 732-286-2222. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the St. Barnabas Food Pantry, 732-269-2208.
