William A. Kachelriess passed away Sunday, December 2 at Leisure Park Nursing Home, Lakewood, NJ at 92 years old.  Bill grew up in Union, NJ and served his country in the Army during World War 2. After the war was over he returned to Union and married “the love of his life”, Eleanor Haag.  They moved to Hillside, NJ and had two sons, David and Michael. After Eleanor passed at an early age, he married Audrey Talian. They then moved to Wall, NJ where they raised the two boys.   After retirement from being a self-employed bowling machine mechanic, Bill and Audrey moved to Leisure Knoll in Manchester, NJ and lived there approximately 30 wonderful years. Bill loved to watch his sons in their athletic endeavors and then later his grandchildren.  “Bill K” as he was known to many was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be truly missed by all who came to know him. He is survived by sons David (Mary Ann) and Michael (Karen), grandchildren Andrew (Melinda), Kevin (Carla), Kristen, Kaitlyn (Corey) and Kelsey (Liam), and great-grandchildren, Austin, Brooke, Myla, Marley, Bennett, Jakob and Scarlett.
