Obituary of Alexander R Zilinski

Alexander R. Zilinski AGE: 77 • Cream Ridge Alexander R. Zilinski, age 77, of Cream Ridge passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2016, at home surrounded by his family. Al was born in Newark and lived most of his life in Morganville before moving to Cream Ridge 14 years ago. He was a member for over 50 years of Local #1006, Carpenter's Union, Milltown until his retirement. Al was a parishioner of Church of the Assumption RC Church, Wrightstown, where he was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 3397. He loved to be outdoors and spent his time camping, gardening and bird watching. Al is survived by his wife of 59 years Alice nee Downey; his children, Edie Legg (Ed), Dianne Zilinski, Donna Hahn (Dennis), Alex Zilinski (Toni) and Christine Zilinski; his brothers Bernard Zilinski and Dennis Zilinski; 20 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by his parents Alexander and Anna Zilinski and his brother Russell Zilinski. A memorial mass will be celebrated 10 am Saturday, August 13, 2016 at Church of the Assumption, 28 Monmouth Rd, Wrightstown. Entombment will follow at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, 30 Schoolhouse Rd., Manchester.
