Obituary of Cecelia Diane Ziarko

 

Cecelia Diane (Fearer) Ziarko entered heaven’s eternal gates on August 2, 2019.  She was born on July 30, 1952 in Dundalk, Maryland. She lived in Maryland, Ohio and Michigan in her childhood and worked for General Motors after graduating high school in 1970 as a secretary before moving to New Jersey in 1981.  For many years, she was a homemaker while teaching porcelain doll making and cake decorating to others. She served as the cafeteria manager at Marlboro High School for several years before working at Kube Pak, a wholesale greenhouse, both in the production office as well as in the greenhouse during growing seasons.  Throughout her life, she was very active in the church, both at St. Thomas Lutheran Church in Englishtown, and Village Lutheran Church in Lanoka Harbor. She was in the handbell choir, served on the altar and ladies’ guilds, and assisted with Sunday school and vacation bible school. She moved to Whiting in 2007, and enjoyed the beach, Atlantic City, and spending time with her children and grandchildren through their athletic and extracurricular activities. 

 

 She was predeceased by her parents, Cecelia Mary Fearer and Charles L. Fearer, Sr., and eldest brother Charles L. Fearer, Jr.  She is survived by her sister, Susan Parker, of Ohio, her brother, Mark Fearer, of Virginia, her children, Carrie Simms of Virginia, Robert Ziarko of New Jersey, their spouses Robert Simms and Jeanne Ziarko, and her three beloved grandchildren Jocelyn, Hannah and Jayson.

 

 A celebration of her life is planned for Saturday, September 21st at 11am at Village Lutheran Church, 701 Western Blvd., Lanoka Harbor, NJ 08734, with a luncheon to follow in the fellowship hall.
