Obituary of Anthony Robert Snyder

Anthony Robert Snyder 11/18/1967-2/8/2020 Anthony was born in East Orange, NJ and grew up in Irvington until his teens when he relocated to Barnegat, NJ. A graduate of Southern Regional High School in Manahawkin. Post-graduation, he pursued a career in Phlebotomy, where he rose through the ranks and ended his career in Senior Management for MedLabs Diagnostics. Anthony was best known for his kind heart and a smile that lit up a room. He lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures, like dining out, crafting and chatting with friends. Anthony and his spouse Todd spent many loving years together and often enjoyed cruising and made many new friends at sea. He had an affinity for many things, including; Celine Dion, anchors and penguins. He adored and loved his two JRTs (Lola and Bailey) like they were his children. Anthony's diagnosis came in the summer of 2013, but through his tenacious spirit and will, he was able to rally and fight as much as his body would allow. His unending selfless and forever helpful nature prompted him to start the social media group, “LiverNation”. Today, the group is comprised of over 2,000 members and continues to grow. It provides invaluable support and knowledge to others battling similar liver–related illnesses from a patient and caregivers perspective. In Anthony's final days, Anthony found peace and solace in being able to see those closest to him, which helped build the bridge for eternal rest with the Lord. He passed peacefully surrounded by those he truly loved and whom equally loved him. Anthony is survived by his eternally, loving spouse Todd Snyder, his Mother-in-law Geraldine Snyder, his especially endearing Aunt Carol Romeo and her family, Uncle Dominick Strada, Uncle Phil Strada and his wife Susan and their family. His Sister-in-law Jennifer Martinez and her husband Jose, and their children Mia and Ashton. As well as, many other family members. Anthony was forever grateful for his many loving friends that always made time to visit and tended to his daily wishes.
