Obituary of Pearl Irene Price

PEARL IRENE PRICE 1921 – 2020 Pearl Price age 99, peacefully passed away on Sunday May 17th, 2020 at Hampton ridge, Toms River, NJ. Born in Nanticoke, Pennsylvania in 1921, she lived there her whole life until 6 years ago due to onset of dementia. Pearl is survived by her daughter Patricia and her husband Albert, her son Fred and his wife Bing, and her daughter Yavonne. Pearl is also survived by 5 grandchildren Sheila, Albert, John, Brian & Jeremiah, 7 great-grandchildren Brianne, Brittany, Trevor, Tyler, Maria, Rebecca and Matthew and 2 great-great- grandchildren Olivia & Evelyn as well as a sister, nieces, nephews and friends. Pearl had a loving bond with the Blessed Mother and God. She enjoyed fishing, swimming, camping and just being outdoors. She mostly loved teaching all of her grandchildren about nature .She was a lover of animals particularly dogs. Also, pearl enjoyed watching western movies and older scary movies with her grandchildren. We will miss you mom / gram. “Hand to God”! Her family would like to thank the staff at Hampton ridge & Serenity hospice for their compassion and kindness and for always going that extra mile for pearl. There will be a private family memorial gathering and service on Thursday, July 9th, 2020 from 11:30am-12:30pm at S.J. Grontkowski Funeral Home, 530 West Main St., Plymouth, PA 18651. A committal service will immediately follow at St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Nanticoke , PA. As per Pennsylvania law, a mask must be worn at the funeral home and cemetery.
