Joe was a firm believer that family comes first. His lifelong dream was to have a family business. After many years as a truck driver, he finally became owner of the Ocean Gate Market, where his family had the privilege of working with him on a daily basis for 6 years, Butchie loved his family unconditionally. He was a kind and understanding man. He was certified in mind control studies and was involved with teaching and mentoring many people earlier in his life as an addiction counselor for DARE. Joe was special to everyone who had the privilege of getting to know him. His love for spiritual and paranormal things, made Butchie an interesting and enlightened soul. Joe loved reading books, tinkering with his computer, and taking pictures, He found joy in little things, but his main joy in life was his family. While there are no amount of words to sum up how great he was in life, Joseph will be remembered foremost as a devoted family man, husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
