Please share a memory of William to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
It is with great sadness that the family of William “Bill” Sarboukh announces his passing, June 29, 2021 at his home after battling a brave fight with cancer. William was born May 25, 1934 in South Bound Brook, NJ.  He graduated from Bound Brook High School where he was a dedicated, multi-lettered athlete before beginning his beloved service in the United States Navy.  His fondest memories were of those traveling the world on USS Goodrich 831 from 1952-1956.  William was employed for most of his life in the trucking industry and enjoyed his retirement.  William moved his family to Bayville, NJ in 1969 where he was an avid boater and enjoyed capturing the treasures of the bays to enjoy with family on the weekends.  William was also a member of the American Legion and Bayville Elks playing on their softball team.  He moved to Florida for a few years where he lived out a dream of working for The Dodgers Corporation before moving back home to be with family. William was predeceased by his loving wife of 57 years Ann Sarboukh, his parents William and Nora Sarboukh, two brothers and two sisters.  His memories will live on in the lives of his children; Marion Minnes, Elizabeth Mahan and her husband Thomas, Michael Barte and his wife Maureen, William Sarboukh and his wife Beverly, and Nora-Ann Klouser and her husband Kenneth.  William also had 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.   Dad will be remembered for his dedication to family, humor, love of all sports, watching the horse tracks, and zest for life.  He made friends everywhere he went and lived a great life.  A private burial will take place for immediate family only.
