Obituary of Anna Castellano

It is with heavy hearts that the children of Anna Nancy Buro Castellano announce the passing of their beloved mother on July 2, 2021. Known to everyone as Ma…She was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. She moved to New Jersey with her family in 1970. She worked at Air Cruisers where she silk screened safety devices and equipment. After retiring from Air Cruisers she work as a bus aid for Harnett Transportation. She loved the children and they loved her. They were fond of the stories she would read them. Their favorite being “The Three Little Pigs” as she would encompass all of the characters. She loved to be with her family and cook for them. Amongst her specialities, Stromboli and the best ever Eggplant Parmigiana. Her favorite place to travel, well if it wasn't Las Vegas, it was Atlantic City. Back in the day it was Merv Griffin and Resorts Hotel. She loved going there! Lovely Anna is preceded by her parents Anthony and Rose Buro and her sister Carmela Mondino. She is survived by her four children: Theresa, Debbie, Alfred and Dean Castellano Her grandchildren: Vincent Amendola & Steven Johnson Jennifer Bloomer, Lisa O’Donnell & Mike O’Donnell, Jeff Amendola and Christina Castellano Her Great Grandchidren; Nicholas, Brooke, Emma, Caitlyn and Gunnar Her Great Great Grandson: Carter Her Nephews: Ricky Mondino, Anthony, Cathy She is loved by all and will be missed every day. Our beautiful mother will always be in our hearts. Private services and Celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
