On June 23, Christopher Fronduto,69, died at home due to complications from pulmonary fibrosis. Born in Brooklyn and raised in Staten Island, he graduated from New Dorp High School. He was a TPPA agent for the NYC Transit Police for 21 years.

Strong willed, passionate, and colorful he lived life on his own terms and always spoke his mind. He hated bullies and slow drivers. Chris was incredibly loyal and generous to those that he loved. He had a zany sense of humor and loved to make people laugh.

Chris was a true gambler. He loved horse racing in AC and in his younger years he loved the shore, movies, restaurants, and bowling; having perfected the “moon ball”. He was a huge animal lover, and was met at the rainbow bridge by many animals.

Predeceased by his parents Carmine and Rita. He is survived by his devoted wife of 41 years Susan, his son Andrew and daughter in law Michelle, and their daughter Hailey, the absolute love of his life. Also surviving are his brothers Stephen and Richard and his husband Mario, sister Patricia, his aunt Carol Caristo, his godsons Stephen and Kevin, and nephew Michael, chosen nieces Kelly and Dakota, and many other friends and family. He was privately cremated and a celebration of life will follow at a later date.
