Obituary of Rosalie Horner Mullen

Rosalie Horner Mullen was called back to the Lord on Friday, July 30, 2021 after a brief illness. Rosalie was 55 years of age. Rosalie was born in Neptune, NJ to Virginia and Wayne Horner on October 14, 1965. Rosalie lived in Brick Township most of her life and Graduated from Brick Memorial High School in 1984. She later married Thomas Mullen, and then gave birth to the light of her life, William Mullen. Rosalie was an avid sports fan. Her most favorite pastime was watching her son play football at Brick Memorial High School and SUNY Cortland. When not watching Billy play football she was cheering on her Philadelphia Eagles and Philadelphia Flyers teams with her friends and family by her side. Rosalie spent her quiet days at the beach, feet in the sand listening to the waves roll in, which is where we know she is in Heaven. Rosalie was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Laurelton, where she taught Sunday School for many years and lived a life alongside God. Rosalie was a Senior Systems Analyst for over 25 years at CentraState Medical Center in Freehold, NJ. There she will be missed by her many friends and coworkers. Rosalie was predeceased by her father, Wayne Horner. She is survived by her husband Thomas Mullen, son William Mullen and Rosalie’s mother Virginia Horner. Rosalie is also survived by her brother Richard Horner, sister Pam Kadzielawski along with all her aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends. Visiting and a memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 12, 2021 from 4-6 PM at the First Baptist Church Of Laurelton, 1824 Rt. 88, Brick Township NJ. All other services will take place privately.
