Obituary of Christine Judith Johnson

Christine Judith (Orgovan, Lee) Johnson, 79, of Manahawkin, NJ, passed away on June 6, 2022 in Manahawkin, NJ. The family is making private arrangements at a later date. Christine was born in Brooklyn, NY to Alexander Joseph Orgovan and Florence Gordon on 11/5/42. She went to high school in Brooklyn, NY and Galveston, TX and graduated in 1962. She worked as an insurance claims processor for Blue Cross/Blue Shield for many years until she retired. After retirement she worked at Eckert Pharmacy, Home Depot and McGuire AFB. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed spending time at the “Friends House” which is a Alzheimer’s Senior Center. She also had a passion for bowling and reading. Christine was predeceased by her husband Thomas Johnson in 2018. She was also predeceased by her grandchild Samantha Burd. She is survived by her daughter Tina Burd of Wilmington NC, her son Kenneth J Lee and wife Mariellen Lee of Beachwood NJ. She is also survived by her son Steven J. Lee and wife Tracy Lee who Christine lived for the last 4 years in Manahawkin. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Joshua Burd, Patrick Burd, Erin Lee, Owen Lee, Megan Lee, Olivia Lee, and Isabella Lee. She is also survived by the family cat Evie.
