Obituary of Evelyn Ciambrone

Evelyn (Babe Miller) Ciambrone, departed her home in Whiting, NJ on Sunday, July 31st, in order to meet her Lord in her Eternal Home. Evelyn is survived by her three children; Adrian (Hoppy) Persoon of Iberia, MO, Evelyn Reno of Del Rio, TN and Randy Roberts of Longmont, CO. She was predeceased by her eldest son, Ray Persoon. Evelyn was born in West New York, NJ to Henry and Mable Miller, she enjoyed her childhood as a majorette with the North Hudson Girls Fife, Drum and Bugle Corps and roller skating in Columbia Park. As an adult, she volunteered many hours to America’s Keswick, Adventure Pals Bible Radio and endless hours teaching preschoolers in Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. Her favorite times were the hours spent with her family and ladies in her Bible Study Group that she attended for twenty-six years. Evelyn loved to travel “The Back Road” and often astounded others with her knowledge of how to drive places without using any highways. Because of her devotion to the ministry of America’s Keswick, her family requests that in lieu of any intended cards, flowers or memorial Bibles, a donation, in her name, be made to America’s Keswick, 601 Rt. 530, Whiting, NJ 08759. A celebration of Evelyn’s life will be held 2pm Thursday, August 11, 2022, at Crossroads Baptist Church, 201 Brown Avenue, Lakehurst, NJ 08733.
