Linda Wayda, age 73, was born on June 17, 1949 in East Orange, New Jersey daughter of the late Vivian & Salvatore Scardaville. She peacefully passed on Sunday, December 18, 2022; predeceased by her sister & best friend, Susan Hafner.

Linda was raised in Bloomfield, New Jersey, where she met & married her beloved husband, Paul F. Wayda, of 54 years. Together, Linda & Paul raised their adored children Lori Gorlewski & Christopher Wayda; in Toms River, New Jersey. Linda was dedicated to her family in all aspects of life & was known for lighting up any room she walked into. She cherished spending time with those she loved, shopping & playing bingo. Linda never missed an opportunity to show off pictures of her family & support them in all they did.

Linda leaves to cherish her sweet memories, husband, Paul F. Wayda, daughter Lori Gorlewski & husband Edward; son Christopher Wayda; grandchildren, Marissa Gorlewski, Gina Gorlewski & Christopher Wayda; & great-granddaughter, Eliana. Linda will be forever loved, truly missed; and never forgotten.

At Linda’s request there will be no funeral & memorial services. She asked that friends & loved one’s celebrate her life through the memories you have shared with her.

Arrangements were made under the direction of Ocean County Cremation Service.
