James is survived by his daughters Ashley and Brittney Doherty, grandchildren Ryder, Dakota, and Stella, partner Linda Ridgeway, father Bernard Doherty of Passaic, brother John Doherty and wife Willyn of Phillipsburg, NJ, brother Bernard Doherty of Leonia, NJ, sister Kathy Ackerly and husband John of Hewitt, NJ.
