On Sunday, January 1, 2023, Ronald A. Schoen, loving husband, father, and grandfather,

passed away surrounded by his family at the age of 82.

Ron was born on October 1, 1940 in Paterson, NJ. He was married to his wife, Charlotte

Gazdag, for more than 60 years. Deeply in love and inseparable, they raised three daughters,

many fur babies, and had a long and happy life together. He loved music, cooking, painting,

gardening, and traveling, but above all his family.

Ron was known for being an incredibly kind person who was dedicated to his work as a general

contractor. He excelled in this field, built his business from the ground up, and mentored many along the way. He truly loved working with his hands. Upon retirement, he fulfilled his dream of owning a bed and breakfast in Plymouth, MA where he was able to combine many of his

passions, all while touching the lives of others through his love of storytelling.

Ron is survived by his wife Charlotte, his three children, Michele, Deborah, and Stephanie, their spouses, his six grandchildren, Stefanie, Jessica, Amanda, Kaitlyn, Brooke, and Tayler, six great grandchildren, and a niece and nephew. He was preceded by his parents, brother, and sister.

A private service and Celebration of Life for family and friends will be scheduled.
