Donna M. Mondi, 73, of Toms River NJ passed away peacefully after a long health battle on Thursday, April 13th, 2023. She was in her home surrounded by her significant other, Carmen Hedli, and her daughter, Taryn Bosco. Donna was a loving partner to Carmen, the best mom to Taryn and her husband David, and an incredibly proud Mom-Mom to her grandchildren Lexi (17), David (7), and Jackson (4). She is also survived by many other family members and friends who adored her. She was pre-deceased by her son, Paul Alexander, her mother Julia (Kish) Deak, her father Frank Deak, and her brother Frank E. Deak. Donna had a smile that could light up a room. She was a hairdresser most of her life, and had a client following that were several generations deep. She had a love for simple things like going on a trip to Atlantic City, going to the diner to eat, baking Christmas cookies, or buying things for her children and grandchildren on QVC. There will be a Celebration of Donna’s Life held on Sunday, May 21, 2023 from Noon to 3pm in the Community Rec Center at Cedar Glen Homes on the Toms River where she had lived. 1848 Ridgeway Road, Toms River, NJ 08757.
