Linda L. Hanson, [69], of Whiting, NJ passed away peacefully on May 30, 2023, in Toms River.

Linda was born in Los Angeles, CA to Eugene and Wilma Hanson on September 22, 1953. She

lived in California until 1989 and moved her family to New Jersey. She lived in Toms River for

18 years before moving to Whiting.

She worked as an Administrative Assistant for Getinge for many years. After that business

closed, she then took on the responsibility of Administrative Assistant for Mobile Homeowners

Association (MHOA). During that time, she got her certification to become an EMT. She was an

EMT for Whiting First Aid.

She LOVED spending time and doing things with her grandchildren. She enjoyed watching her

favorite shows on TLC and The Food Network, along with Survivor and Law & Order. She also

enjoyed playing games on her computer, where she befriended people across the country. Linda

was also an animal lover which was evident by her involvement with Jersey Shore Animal

Foundation, which is an organization that placed cats and dogs in foster homes.

Linda is survived by her son, Leonard “Butch” Reuter, Jr of Whiting; daughter, Nanci Mehta and

husband Rouzaan Mehta of Forked River; grandson, Donavon Mehta; and granddaughter, Delani

Mehta. She is preceded in death by her father Eugene Hanson, and her mother, Wilma Hanson.

A Memorial Gathering will be held at Ocean County Cremation (1252 Route 37 West, Toms

River) on June 30th from 3pm to 6pm. A small service will be at 5pm. Relatives and Friends are

invited to attend.
