Surrounded by her family Virginia Schoeneberg passed away peacefully at her home on June 17, 2023 at the age of 90. She was born March 28, 1933, to Charlie and Lottie Parker, nee Bunnell, in Forked River. She was predeceased by her husband, Fred after 53 years of marriage. The couple were blessed with nine children. She was also preceded in death by her sons Fred, Jr. and Charlie. She is survived by her children, Terry, Dorothy, Rudolph, Tracey, Jill, William and Eric. Along with her 20 grandchildren, and 36 great grandchildren, all of whom were her pride and joy. Virginia was a gift to Forked River. She spent endless hours giving back to her community throughout her 90 years she was a devout Methodist. She belonged to the red hats, she was a lifetime member of the Lacey historical society, and a sharp-witted Forked River historian. Her generosity of love was enormous, and will forever be missed, but not forgotten.
