Joseph La Veglio, 84, passed away on July 11, 2023. Joseph was born on June 15, 1939 in Jersey
City, New Jersey to Frank La Veglio and Jean La Veglio (Biancamano).
Joseph earned a B.A. at Rutgers University where he went on to work as an accountant for 42
years. He loved spending time with his family, singing with his wife, playing games with his
grandchildren, and watching the Mets and Giants. Joseph always was always there to give
wonderful advice and council to his family and friends.
Joseph is predeceased by his daughter, Jo Anne, and his parents Frank and Jean.
Joseph is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Mary Ellen, daughter Lisa Klutkoski
(Michael), son David La Veglio, sister Christine Unish, brother Thomas La Veglio, and five
grandchildren: Anthony, Daniel, Joseph, Andrew, and JoAnne.
As per Joseph’s request, no services will be held. Condolences can be mailed to 1 Halsey
Avenue, Bayville, N.J. 08721.
