Barbara Hutnick, 76, of Manchester Township, passed away on July 22, 2023. In

addition to Ocean County, she also resided in Bergen, Passaic and Sussex Counties in

New Jersey as well as Los Angeles County, California, where she lived in the cities of El

Segundo, and Malibu, for approximately twenty years.

Barbara’s professional life was primarily in the legal field, but while in California,

she also held various jobs within the production, contractual and editing sectors of the

entertainment industry. After returning to New Jersey, her final job before retiring was

with a preeminent law firm in Manhattan, as the Office Manager and Executive

Assistant to the managing partner.

In addition to a successful professional life, Barbara’s true vocation was in the

creative and technical arenas. She was a passionate photographer and adept with

understanding computer graphics. Barbara was a skilled artist, an avid reader and had

an excellent ability to write and edit the written word. She also possessed an unending

love of nature, and was constantly intrigued in cosmic and universal subjects.

Barbara is survived by her brother Joseph Hutnick of Lancaster, CA. Beloved

mother of Pamela Sudol of Manchester, and Christopher and Michele Sudol of Montague;

She is the grandmother of Amanda and Troy Ackerley, and great-grandmother of Rowan

Ackerley of Montague, and grandmother of Nicole Sudol of Orlando, FL. Beloved Aunt

to Megan Hutnick of East Atlantic Beach, NY, Toni Lynn and Matthew Abdulaziz, and

great-Aunt to Eva Abdulaziz of Lancaster, CA.

Memorial Gathering will be Saturday, August 19, 2023, 10:00-11:00 AM at Ocean

County Cremation Service, 1252 Rte. 37 West, Toms River, NJ 08755.
