Gerry Barone, 71, passed away on October 18, 2023 at his home in Jackson Township, NJ.

Gerry was born July 6, 1952 in Paterson to John “Jack” and Gertrude (Chipolone). He went to high school at Passaic County Tech and graduated in 1970. Gerry worked as a Maintenance Supervisor for Mobay Chemical and Fabricolor before working in fire protection installation. Gerry enjoyed the outdoors, barbecue, and cheering for the Giants and Yankees. Affectionately nicknamed 'Boomer,' Gerry also had a passion and talent for bowling.

Gerry was preceded in death by his beloved dog, Buddy and his sister-in-law, Katherine. Gerry leaves behind his brother Barry of Saddle Brook, brother John and wife Rose of Toms River, son Gerry and wife Nancy of Oak Ridge, TN, son Matthew and wife Katherine of Denville, NJ, and daughter Kathleen of Oak Ridge, NJ. Gerry also leaves two nephews, two nieces, four grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.

Per Gerry's wishes, there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Gerry's name may be made to the Eleventh Hour Rescue.
