After a long battle with cancer Michael Capriotti 60, of Whiting, New Jersey passed away

peacefully on November 3rd , 2023 surrounded by his family. Known by many, but to those who

loved him he was known as Dad, Grandpa, Uncle Mike, and Mikey.

Michael was born on February 14, 1963 in Point Pleasant, New Jersey to Alfred and Mary

Capriotti. After graduating Howell High School in 1981, Michael worked as a Union Carpenter

leaving his mark on thousands of buildings. On his free time, you could find him building

anything you could think of, fishing, or cracking jokes with those he loved.

Michael will be remembered for his smile that could light up any room, his willingness to help

others expecting nothing in return, and his ability to always bring life to the party. He was the

type of person that you didn’t cross paths with, without letting him leave a lasting impression on

you.

Everyone who knew Michael, knew that he loved nothing more than his family. He looked

forward to every birthday, family dinner, graduation, and his favorite, sports events. We will

always cherish the memories we have with him; we could not have asked for a better dad or

grandpa. If love could have saved him, he would have lived forever.

Michael was predeceased by his brother Joseph Capriotti. He is survived by his parents: Alfred

and Mary Capriotti; his daughters: Cassandra (Joshua Radford) Capriotti, Mary (Andrew) Forst,

Ashleigh Capriotti, and Brittney Capriotti; his grandchildren: Zachary Capriotti, Mckenzie

Capriotti, Chase Radford, Chase Forst, and Kalleigh Forst; and his brothers: Patrick (Maria)

Capriotti, Alfred II (Margaret) Capriotti; along with many other nieces and nephews.
