Chris “Popeye” Nichols, 56, of Toms River, NJ, departed on December 9th, 2023.
Chris was born on September 16th, 1967 in Brooklyn, NY, and grew up in Seaside Park, NJ. He was a man of many talents; a carpenter, fisherman, and mixed martial arts champion. More importantly than this, he was a father, grandfather, husband, son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend.
Chris was raised in a happy home by his parents Lois and David Nichols, alongside of his loving sister, Danyelle Reh. In 2011, he was united with the love of his life, Kathleen Charette, and they built a beautiful life together. He is succeeded by his daughter, Karissa Facciponte, and his grandchildren, Grayson and Emma.
Services for Chris will be held at Ocean County Crematory Services located at 1252 Rt. 37 in Toms River, NJ on Saturday, December 16th, from 12pm-2pm. Thank you, and join us in celebrating his beautiful life.
