Maria Angela Gubitosa, 60, of Toms River NJ passed away on November 17 th 2023 surrounded by

family. She was born on July 1 st 1963 in Newark, NJ to Angela Pasquariello and Joseph Montuori.

She grew up in her cherished city of Asbury Park, and attended Our Lady of Mount Carmel School.

Maria worked as a dedicated Medical Practice Administrator for over 30 years. She was always

found at her desk with a big smile and was adored by her doctors and patients.

Maria was known for her infectious laugh, big heart, and kind soul. Maria would do absolutely

anything to help the people she loved. She enjoyed relaxing by the beach, singing to Bruce

Springsteen, binge watching Bravo, and decorating for Christmas.

Maria is survived by her daughter Christina Brajer, her son-in-law, Michael, her grandson, Michael

Robert; her significant other Chris Lowe, ex husband of 24 years Robert Gubitosa, her mother

Angela Cariddo, brothers Peter Montuori and wife Shelia and Nicholas Cariddo, and her extended

family of Aunts.Uncle and cousins.

Preceding her in death are her grandparents Carmine and Ida Pasquariello, and step-father Daniel

Cariddo.

A memorial mass will be held on Wednesday December 27 th , 2023 at 11:00 at Our Lady of Mount

Carmel (Mother of Mercy Parish) in Asbury Park with Celebration of Life to follow from 1:00-3:00 at

Corbo and Sons in Shrewsbury.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
